On this program This Is America & The World and Dennis Wholey travel to southern Japan to experience Oita prefecture. After speaking with Governor Katsusada Hirose, Dennis proceeds to explore the sites that help to define the prefecture and region. Segments include a visit to the stunningly beautiful Usa Shrine, the mountain town of Yufuin which is known for its many traditional Japanese hot springs and the unique religious site of the Usuki Stone Buddhas, which are regarded as rare national treasures.
